How Can Davis Professional Services Help?

  1. We have made a significant financial investment in purchasing electrostatic spray equipment that will allow us to disinfect over 20,000 sq ft per hour of building space.
  2. Our employees have been trained on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as N95 Respirators, Tyvek suits, Facial Protection, etc., and are ready to respond to your call for more extensive disinfection. (this is only in the case of a major outbreak in facility)
  3. We have identified specific disinfectants that are compatible with our electrostatic spray equipment and have proven effective in killing the Human Coronavirus and many other bacteria, viruses and fungi.

What to do if someone in your workplace is diagnosed with COVID-19?

  1. Call Davis Professional Services immediately (757-431-1344) or contact your site supervisor and alert us that an employee or other on-site provider has tested positive for COVID-19. To protect the privacy of employees, contractors, and other on-site consultants, please DO NOT disclose the identity(s) of individuals that have received positive test results.  We will personally work with you to develop a site-specific plan, including an extensive overall cleaning and disinfection of your entire building.
  2. Transparency is incredibly important to employees, especially when addressing workplace health and safety matters that affect the collective wellbeing. Some of your employees may be wondering how your organization is addressing COVID-19.  Utilizing standard communication channels for companywide communication, we recommend that you inform your employees and other on-site personnel that you are utilizing a proactive approach by taking important steps that include cleaning and disinfecting common ‘touch points’ and other areas more stringently.  Conveying a calm and clear message will minimize any sense of panic, provide reassurance, and hopefully result in minimal disruption to company operations.

What Can Be Done to Reduce the Spread of Viruses?

  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Routinely clean all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, counter tops, and doorknobs. Use the cleaning agents that are most used in these areas and follow the directions on the label.
  • No additional disinfection beyond routine cleaning is recommended at this time.
  • Provide disposable wipes so that commonly used surfaces (for example, doorknobs, keyboards, remote controls, desks) can be wiped down by employees before each use.
